Inside, our brand-new space is bright, calming, and fully equipped with the latest pediatric dental technology. Meet Our Doctor
Hi! I’m Dr. Chris Stevenson, a board-certified pediatric dentist. I’m a dad who’s passionate about helping kids feel confident and cared for at the dentist. I know most kids don’t think much about their teeth, but I believe that early, positive experiences can set them up for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Originally from Arizona, I earned my dental degree from Creighton in 2014 and later completed my pediatric residency at NYU Langone – Tucson in 2019. With the exception of residency, I’ve lived in Iowa since 2015. It’s where I’m raising my family and proud to serve this community.
As a father of seven, including two children on the autism spectrum, I understand how important it is to create a patient, welcoming space for every child. That’s why I built Tooth Haven, a fun, calming dental home where kids feel supported, and parents feel heard. We offer evidence-based care with options to meet the needs of your family such as after braces white spot treatments with Curodont or early cavity remineralization with hydroxyapatite toothpaste.
When I’m not in the office, I’m usually spending time with my wife, Jennifer, racing through obstacle courses, or playing video games with my kids. I look forward to welcoming your family to Tooth Haven!
